Neighbourhood Venue Co. exists for one reason: to be a good long-term home for venues that matter to the places they sit in.
Who We Are
A small group of operators and investors.
We buy, invest in and operate pubs, hotels and hospitality venues across Queensland, New South Wales and Victoria. We are deliberately small, deliberately hands-on, and deliberately slow about growth.
Our work sits in two halves. The first is being a genuinely good buyer for owners whose venues deserve care in a transition. The second is the day-to-day craft of running those venues well — food, service, teams, buildings — usually alongside the people who were already running them.
We are not a hospitality brand looking for sites to convert. Each venue stays itself.
What We Believe
Three things we keep coming back to.
Pubs are infrastructure
For a lot of Australian neighbourhoods and country towns, the local is the last shared room left. That makes ownership a responsibility as much as an investment.
Character is not decoration
The worn bar, the odd layout, the name above the door — these are the reasons a venue is loved. They are assets, and we treat them as such.
Hospitality is a career
The industry loses good people to bad rosters and no progression. We would rather be known as a group people stay with.

We combine local venue leadership with specialist hospitality expertise, performance systems and disciplined operating support.
Local venue leadership
The GM and team on the ground lead the venue. Where a strong operator is already in place, our preference is to retain and support them.
Specialist hospitality expertise
Food, beverage, gaming, accommodation and events experience available to a venue without it having to carry the overhead.
Performance systems and operating support
Reporting, benchmarking, procurement and people systems that are difficult for a single venue to build on its own.
